In a world turned upside down this headline makes perfect sense. The new head of the AMA has stated that the AMA is open to a government plan but he was quick to note some serious caveats. Those caveats are along the lines of Netenyahu’s terms for a peace agreement with the Palestinians. It is a very narrow window for the president to squeeze through his ambitious plans.
The only government option for “the uncovered” that the AMA endorses is an expansion of the plan that Congresspersons have for themselves. FAT CHANCE. The CNN headline is intentionally misleading.
Meanwhile, Obama was at a tightly scripted “Town Hall” meeting on health care where he chastised those that use scare tactics and fear mongering to make people afraid of his plans.
Wow – you mean like conjuring up images of soup kitchens and trotting out sob stories of hard luck cases to make everyone fear for their own health and welfare? That sound like a … well, an Obama Town Hall Meeting on Health Care.

Why do we not hold this president accountable for his actions? Obama promised us that if we pass his stimulus package that unemployment would not go over 8% and that Catapiller would save jobs. Well, unemployment is going to be double digits real soon, and Catapiller laid of thousands of workers and will be letting go of more employees in the near future. The bottom line is the Presidents math does not add up on any of the five plans. In fact Obama does not even know what is in plans that he wants passed. I have lost trust in Obama.
