National Archives Loses Clinton Era Information

The folks from “Get Smart” could not make this stuff up.

First, Sandy Berger (Burglar) stuffs his pockets with material from the National Archives that he thought made the Clinton folks look like they messed up with respect to Bin Laden and Al Quaeda.  He got off with a slap on the wrist (because he is a Democrat and the media usually never makes you even say you’re sorry except when you have a really bad hair piece like Blagojevich).

Now we find out that the National Archives lost an entire hard drive with over 100,000 Social Security numbers and other personal identification information of people who were in or visited the White House.

Isn’t this something that private companies are wrestling with every day?  The government is supposed to be able to have their s**t together better than automakers and privately held banks and health care organizations.  How are we to trust these clowns now?

Barack Obama is going to have a tougher sell on the whole “Government is the only solution big enough” to fix the crisis b.s.
