Michael Crichton was one of my favorite authors. His death marks the too early end of a life that brought much to the world of imagination and inspiration. He created incredible works of fiction that had their basis in his knowledge of science and reason. His legacy includes movies like “Jurassic Park”, “Sphere”, “Twister” and “The Andromeda Strain” and television shows like “ER”.
My favorite memory of him will be his enduring level-headedness with respect to fear mongering – especially concerning global warming.
