Woke up this morning to a confirmation email.
No, I did not subscribe to Obama’s VP selection service – I got my notice that Obama is just as full of excrement as I thought. For someone running on “change”, he seems to be running on empty. Or is it “runnin’ blind”? It won’t matter either way, because he’s going to be running behind once this train wreck crashes out of the gate.
Forget the direct attacks Biden made on Obama as his opponent in the early part of the primaries to become lead Democrat. Those will be dismissed by a pretty chummy press corp. No, just remember the potential for “gaffes” by Biden.
It only takes Biden 10 seconds into the clip to begin his insult of Indian Americans and by 30 seconds he has reinforced his own stupidity with a smile.
If you thought that McCain tends to be erratic and looses his temper frequently and simply cannot comprehend PC speech or just common courtesies – you have a point. But compared to Biden, McCain comes off as absolutely Reaganesque.
Now, all McCain needs to do is pick an actual competent conservative and he should coast. Why do I think this won’t happen? It is a shame we have to get our entertainment from the people who are supposed to be most concerned with our country first. I guess it is like looking at a traffic accident. We all know we shouldn’t – but you just have to look.
